i walked the red carpet
Not really. But there was a (short section of) red carpet, complete with (not necessarily short) LA movie people, in town tonight. The town being Elkader, IA, population 1500, the occasion being the new indie film 16 to Life, filmed on location twenty minutes away in McGregor (which, just to be properly thorough, has a population of 871). And that's the news.
